Ive got the same problem as most got .Ive got a 93 e.g. Honda civic.im pretty shore it uses the d15b3 mill, now when I go to turn it on, it will crank but not kick over? now bare in mind the car has been sitting in a garage for the last 9 months it has compression in the cylinders .the dash lights up aright,Ive replace the fuses it just seems like its missing something.now Ive read a couple of forums and its pointing it towards the map sensor but at the moment its guess work.where should I start??

Try dry gas before all that stuff.
My civic of that vintage always seemed to have water in the gas, just enough to not start, but dry gas solved it.

Perform tests, in Honda Sections 1 and 2, below:

The problem is not likely with the MAP Sensor--they are extremely reliable (and extremely expensive).
