One lap around the gym is 1/3 mile. Kim has already run 5 times around. If she wants to run 2 miles total, How much farther does she have to go?

Find the length of those 2 laps that she wants to run.
1 lap -> 1/3 mile
2 laps -> (1/3) x 2 = ? Mile
Post what you get! :)
EDIT: Sorry, I misread and thought that she needed to run 2 more laps :(
1. Find the length of 5 laps.
2. Subtract 2 from that length.

1/3 times 5 = 5/3 which iis 1 mile and 2/3. So 1/3 of a mile to go
