I filed for a divorce which was granted about an year ago. Today I received a letter from the courthouse stating that the filed a motion of relief from that judgement and that is should appear in court in nov for a rehearing.
1 does this mean am still married?
2 can I challenge this?

Did you not receive the actual motion? A copy of it should have been mailed to you by the other party or his/her attorney (You wrote that "... the filed a motion". The what?)

It looks like your ex has filed a motion. It is likely that the court rules &/or statutes in your jurisdiction don't allow such a motion to be filed this long after the divorce decree is entered. So, no, you are not still married. Whether you would be still married if and when such a motion were to be granted is an open question. But certainly you can challenge this. Could well be that the motion is unfounded (no chance in heck it could ever be granted), but the court scheduled a hearing to see what your ex thought he/she was doing.

If you were represented by an attorney, contact the attorney to ask about this.
