My 5 month old French Mastiff, eats any rubbish in sight, from mud to leaves to bathroom scowrers? He has been de wormed a month ago. He also looks a bit thin, but eats more than his recommended allowance of food. Do let me know what's OK.
Thanking you,

I would have him checked for worms before de-worming him again.
Has he started monthly heart worm prevention? If so, does it also cover other types of worms?
What does his vet say about his size and health?
What food are you feeding him?
Something to keep in mind is that his breed becomes massive. At this stage of his development, he should be building the frame that all of his muscles will bulk out around. He will go through a period of looking 'skinny'. How tall is he getting?

I deworm my dogs once a month, and it's usually best to have them on a regular worm treatment to begin with. It's okay to give more or less then what your bag recommends, but be mindful to not over feed.
As Cat suggested, it's always best to consult with a vet. Are you using a vet prescribed treatment or an over the counter stuff? Are you still feeding a puppy chow for large breeds?
We would LOVE to see some pics of your little guy!

Thanks for the advice, will not over-medicate him, just get a little worried if I am doing the best for him. He is on Dr Alder's, My Lord Sensitive food,he eats 1kg of eat mixed with homemade yogurt and flaxseed oil. He had a bit of demodectic mange, and thus the 'sensitive' feed. He weighs 21kg, and will be 6 months in a week. Will try and put up pics of him:-).
Thank you.
