I saw a movie in the 70s at school and again on TV many years ago and would love to see it again but I can not remember the name. I have searched and searched. The movie took place in a country with bogs and marshes, it was always raining and foggy in the movie. It was a story about a boy who could not talk. He was a blonde boy and his father got him a horse. I believe the horse was named Fury. The boy and the horse had a bond even though the boy could not talk. In one scene the horse is stuck in the marsh or quick sand like area and the boy finally talks to get the horse out. In another scene the boy and a girl / friend were teaching a falcon like bird to fly and the boy freaked out running down the hill with the bird still attached to his arm. The bird lived. It was in a country that was always foggy and the people had an accent that was not the USA. The scenery was great in the movie. It was not the kids series called Fury that was on TV as a kid. It was a movie I saw in the 70s, so it had to come out before then. From my searching it sounds similar to a move called Black Stallion, but that is not the movie since I remember seeing the movie I am looking for in the 1970s.
