Hi!
I'm having quite a difficult time with my life and I was just wondering if there is someone I could talk to and maybe they could give me some advice. There are some problems that I'm having for a while and I just need to tell them to somebody because I can't keep them in to myself anymore.I don't want to bother my friends and family with them because they have their own problems.

Thanks

Ps:sorry for my bad writing skills , english is not my mother tongue

Well you see I'm a bit overweight ,and I have been trying to lose the weight for quite some years and I didn't make any progres.and every time I get more depressed about it. The problem is that I don't know how to actually lose weight(fat).I want to be toned and have more muscle and less fat percentege in my body.do you maybe know how I can do that.
How to stay motivated enough?

What's "a bit"?

I don't know how to actually lose weight
Have you talked to your doctor about this?

how to stay motivated enough?
That's the trick, isn't it -- to find a good plan and to stick with it.

What country are you in?

I've struggled with my weight for about 30 years. I have finally found what works for me and am still not thin but not overweight. Important thing is to try out different things and see what works for you. My routine is a combination of weight training (moderate weight lifting, not heavy weight lifting since I'm trying to burn fat and not become Hercules) and cardio. I do this for about 45 minutes three times per week. Each time I do weights I target a different muscle group - day 1 (chest and back), day 2 (legs), day 3 (shoulders, biceps, triceps). I work in ab exercises like crunches or ab exercise machines on all three days in between "rests" to keep my heart rate up. At the end of each session, which I do weights for about 35 minutes, I do just 10 minutes of cardio on a treadmill or elliptical. Get a weight training book and start with light weights to make sure you do the exercises correctly and add weight as you get stronger. Take your time with it and have fun. Bring your mp3 player to motivate you. Second part is, of course, diet, and I could do much better, but I hate dieting and just try to keep my calories down to below 2500 per day (some times lower, some times not). Dieting sucks but it's a necessary part. I prefer to eat more for breakfast and lunch (satisfy a craving at lunch) and then have a light dinner. OK I'm done. Good luck!! Feel free to ask questions and remember to find your own groove!

Most of us have had to deal with weight problems, so more then others. I myself was 100lbs more then I am now aoubt 8years ago. I was in a size 24 women's pant, and so depressed. I found out had thyroid problem--hypo.

But that didn't help me get the weight off. I had to work my backside off. I hated how I felt period.

You can be on all the diets there is, but bottom line is get UP and MOVE. You need to walk, I don't care where, how fast,on what, just walk. Sitting on yourback side and feeling sorry for yourself isn't going to get the weight off or help you tone up. The weight won't just fall off overnight, it will take time. Watch what you eat, but don't skip meals. Keep to healthy food, NO FRIED. Now when I was going to dietian, she said to say away from beef, ice berg lettuce--they are both hard to digest. The ice berg lettuce has no nutritionel value. Small portions, if you get hungry, take some snakes with you. Like a small salad to eat. I like to eat to this day a romaine salad with no dressing, but I put cottage cheese on top and mix it in (not alot) and mix in cut up grapes. If you using this as dinner put some cut up meat. Any way you can look up on internet the good foods.

It does work, I am done to size 6 130lbs and have kept it off. I didn't need any type of surgery, because I worked out, but you start with walking, once you start notice a difference, start introducing other exercise, I didn't learn to job until I turned 42yrs. Good luck
