Hi can anybody help me I was bought higrade laptop for christmas bought a wireless network adapter it says that laptop is connected but not receiving or sending packages thanxs in advance

Do you have the other equipment needed, such as a wireless router(I recommend linksys) and a high speed internet such as cable modem or dsl??

Try adding the DNS server addresses manually:
Support Center (http://kb.earthlink.net/case.asp?article=187109)

You'll need that info from your ISP.

Hi karma also done that as well it connects no problem from using ethernet lead but wireless says connected its not receiving or sending packages

Did you power cycle your modem and router also did you enable wireless security in your router, if so maybe you should disable until you get things going, go to your routers setup page and make sure you are broadcasting your signal,, hope this helps Chris
