I just installed a Hampton Bay Argenta Ceiling Fan. It has an uplight, downlight and is controlled only by the remote. The receiver inside the unit is inaccessible from what I can tell. Looks like everything was wired properly. Turned the power back on and the wall switch and nothing. The remote comes on and I went through the process of resetting the dip switch until I got it to flash but that is all it will do. The fan and light will not work other than the light coming on and flashing to show the dip switch is set.

What could be wrong? I really don't want to have to take it down to check the main wiring as I assume the light would not even work if it was wired wrong from the main wires.

UPDATE: I ended up taking it down and checked the main wires... everything looks to be secured and hooked up properly. Black to Black, White to White, 2 Green to Ground in Ceiling... Then for the lighting they are pretty much fool proof plug in type wires for the rest. Black to Black and Black to Blue.. etc. The remote battery does not say low battery. It is working fine except it isn't turning on the fan or light!

Do I need to try all 16 combinations for the dip switch? Seems like something else is wrong.
