I heard human geog cannot be seen or touched,like historical geography,cultural and like that
Poppulation is in human geography and we can see poppulation and touch it same like culture,we can see culture
So why we say that human geography is like a software and we cannot see it?

There is a need to distinguish between the qualitative and quantitative methods.
The social sciences differ somewhat from the natural sciences. Social sciences do use empirical methodology ( collection of data ) but they can also taken into account human behaviour. For example, why people make the choices they do. It is difficult to account for human decision making in precise terms so social scientists tend to explain this in generalized terms.
