In my passport, the givenname is my "fullname" and the surname is blank.Because of this, my B1 visa , is having the firstname as "FNU" .I have got the passport in the year 2007 and after that I have moved from the address specified in the passport.
If I go to passport ofice to make the name change, do I need to change the address too ? If I do that, will I have to go through the same procedure of address verification which I did while the passport was issued ( it was really painful, giving bribe to all the policemen. Frm comissioners office till the police station where they did the verification)
