What exactly do you not understand? Do you mean you don't know how to answer or you don't understand what the question is asking?

Hi Lissaa,
This is a very difficult question to answer because there were many philosophers of the Enlightenment. The problem is they didn't represent a single philosophical tradition. For example, Hume and Locke were empirical philosophers while Kant was a rationalist philosopher.
I can only assume that such a general question requires a very generalized answer.
I don't think it is a very good question because it seems far too generalized.
