Ok so here's my problem. I have to write a satire for English class and can't think of a topic to write about. I just need some ideas. I'm not going to copy the whole idea but just use them to get my creativity flowing. Any suggestions? I was thinking about doing it about how people are so obsessed with either Twilight or Justin Bieber or something like that.
It also has to be humorous. Thanks! :D

One more thing. It can't be a parody either

How about "kids today and yesterday"

How about a satire that Justin Bieber is really a 51 y/o clone from the DNA of Ritchie Valens and the "Big Bopper" who died tragically in a plane crash in 1959 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Big_Bopper).

Or he's a transgender clone from the remains of Marilyn Monroe (drug overdose) or busty Jayne Mansfield. (Jayne supposedly was decapitated during an accident with a semi in which her car drove under the semi. That was the beginning of the Mansfield bar now always installed under semis, so cars can't slide/drive under them). See Wikipedia for articles on Marilyn and Jayne.

How about a "Twilight" satire called "Sunrise"?

CallofDutyQueen100 : that's what I was thinking but it can't be a parody
So write it as a satire.

So write a satire about seedists (a la vegetarians, vegans, et al.).

"Although satire is usually witty, and often very funny, the primary purpose of satire is not primarily humour but criticism of an individual or a group in a witty manner."

Write a satire about playgrounds.
