Can they yes, will they, I have seen some people taken 1/2 way across the nation for misdemeanors and I have seen others on felony not taken to the state next to ours.

It can range from who is on duty the day or night you are caught in the other state, to exactly how bad the DA on your case really wants you.

There is no for sure answer and they may stop and detain you 4 times and not do anything but the 5th time they may decide to come get you.
