My wife has changed her name and in the devorice papers I have to pay child support to her with My last name. She did not change it at the time of the devorice. I have an autistic daughter and have to pay child support for the rest of My life per the court order. Does the change of her name effect that? Checks go to her not in the name of my daughter.. Please help.. Thanks

No, it makes no difference - it is the same as if she remarried.
The name change does NOT change your obligation to support your child, if that is what you are asking. And, yes, you still have to pay support for your daughter.

Child support is paid to the custodial parent for the support of the child. Doesn't matter what name the custodial parent uses.
