The movie is from 90's, I think. Part of the story is about young man, electric guitar player who is trying to brake through with his band. The famous scene from that movie is when he play guitar in front of his house, early in the morning and from the other side of the city some other person also plays guitar and responds tu his music. Later they meet each other and form a succesfull band... :)

That is all I can remember and I hope that someone knows the title of this movie. I've been trying to find it for very long time...

Sounds like "Sunset Strip". Nick Stahl played the guy you are talking about. It was one of many stories in the movie.
