Another California Environmentalist goes bonkers with a gun and a bomb takes hostages and rants like a lunatic.

James Lee, dead in Discovery Channel hostage crisis, reminiscent of Unabomber - CSMonitor.com (http://www.csmonitor.com/USA/2010/0901/James-Lee-dead-in-Discovery-Channel-hostage-crisis-reminiscent-of-Unabomber)

Happened only a few miles from my office today.

Thankfully they killed the SOB... the ACLU can't defend him now.

I know the building and the surrounding buildings... I've been in most of them.

When I heard the address I kew it was one of a couple places I've been in a number of times... before they announced it was The Discovery building.

Ex-leader of abortion clinic charged in bomb scare (http://amarillo.com/oklahoma-news/2010-09-04/ex-leader-abortion-clinic-charged-bomb-scare)

The former director of an Oklahoma abortion clinic has been charged with making false or misleading statements after telling police she'd found a bomb at the facility, according to federal court documents.

Investigators said Linda Meek reported on Aug. 13 that a bomb had been placed in a trash can at Reproductive Services of Tulsa, according to documents filed Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Tulsa. The clinic, which was bombed twice in 1997, and an adjacent building were evacuated, but a bomb technician determined that a suspicious box in the trash can was not an explosive.

Now why would an abortion clinic chief lie about a bomb scare? My guess is the same as others in the article speculated, to portray abortion opponents as "violent and dangerous." The same as when our own government released a report on 'right-wing extremism," just as the left went wildly overboard when a census worker staged his suicide as a hate crime, and just as the left smears 'teabaggers' on a daily basis.

I submit that the left is far more violent, far more intolerant, far more vicious and hateful than the right, and they do these things in part to excuse their own behavior and draw attention away from themselves. Read through ANY comment section at Huffpo and tell me I'm wrong.

The argument can be made that both the Taliban and McVeigh should be considered "right-wing," although to my mind both have stepped over the line into lunacy.

You can of course counter with examples of the New Black Panthers and the Unabomber, again both insane in my opinion.

If you want to confine the argument to rhetoric and advocacy, I'll join you. The left has advocated violence since the days of Abbie Hoffman and Chairman Mao. Violence is part and parcel of their "top down" philosophy. After all, the entire concept of "government imposed" anything is predicated on police ability to use deadly force.

I find that when ANYONE makes a lot of noise, it is to draw attention TOWARD themselves, not away.

Let's face it. Rightie or leftie, we have a lot of mentally unbalanced people in this world. In my opinion, anyone who tries to force their opinions down another person's throat using terrorist tactics is emotionally disturbed. Whether "the left is far more violent, far more intolerant, far more vicious and hateful than the right, " well, I guess we need to take the time to do a serious census to prove that theory out. Based upon news reports & articles I have read throughout my life, it does appear the younger people with leftist ideals tend to act out in a much more aggressive manner both vocally & illegally than those with right leaning tendencies. But, as people grow older, I think the loonies are on both sides of the fence. On the one hand, we have this guy Lee who Smoothy describes as an Environazi. I guess that translates to leftist politics. On the other hand, we have Andrew Joseph Stack III, the guy who flew his plane into that IRS building in your home state of Texas to voice his final objections to his tax bills. I have heard the guy referred to as a right wing conservative. I don't care what their political leaning are. They were both emotionally disturbed individuals sitting on the same side of the "crazy" fence.

Those with "right leaning tendencies", perpetrate their violence by attacking countries who DIDN'T attack us, and through their police forces who brutalize people all the time.

They DO all this from the comfort of their couch, so they can PRETEND they're not violent. Give me a break!

Yeah.. shame on us for wanting to keep what we worked hard to earn.

Never mind it's the left that for the most part doesn't pay their fair share of the taxes... (38% pay not taxes at all) Never mind the fact it's the left that grants Terrorists and muslims more rights than Christians and American Citizens.

Never mind that far more people are center right than center left. Never mind the fact this ISN'T a socialist country, and never mind the fact the left invents facts (creates fiction in reality) to support their agenda when no facts exist.

Prove ANY of that is wrong... it describes the left to a "T". Its Exactly what Obamas redistribution of Wealth is all about... and its been proven to be accurate in EVERY socialist attempt at society on the entire planet in history.

The only human nature that YOU are out of touch with is the fact not all people are as lazy as so much of the left is... and not all humans are content to sit on their a55es and demand their neighbor who works hard hand over his hard earned money so they who did no work could share in the rewards.

Human Nature IS that the lazy and those who want something for nothing tend to gravitiate to the left, while most who are driven to work hard and know they are entitled to keep what THEY earned gravitates to the right.

Taking from one person who earned something who doesn't want to give it up to give to someone who didn't in most civilized cultures is considered theft. The only differnce is if it's a crack head or a leftist politician... its still theft.

Exactly...

When 38% of the population pays no taxes and expects the rest of us that do to pay THEIR share as well as our own and for even more entitlement programs they demand and yet contribute NOTHING towards...

Then there is absolutely no difference between the thug who robs you at gun point and the Government who effectively kidnaps you at gunpoint, then locks you up until you pay a ransom... all because you wouldn't hand over your property to people who didn't earn it, or have a right to it.

Disgust is one thing, hate is another. The right is disgusted by Obama's policies. The right is disgusted that he apologizes to China and genuflects to UN human rights watchdogs like Libya and Cuba. The left hates Bush, the left hates 'teabaggers,' the left hates the "Taliban wing of the Republican party."

The challenge was to look through any thread at Huffpo and tell me I'm wrong. Or, as I continue to challenge when someone refers to those violent 'teabaggers' and their 'second amendment remedies,' compare a Tea Party rally to virtually any left-wing rally (http://zombietime.com/). Go to a Tea Party rally and you'll see plenty of disgust (and possibly some violence by union thugs), go to a leftist rally and you'll see ample supplies of hate.

You like to invent evidence to back up your claims just like Dan Rather got caught doing. Something that is SOP with the Obama administration.

Obama still claims the ecomony is doing quite well, despite the fact NOTHING is doing well except the sector that gets money from the government.

So glad you brought that up. I really think a great deal of the left's "social justice" views stem from closet racism. So why don't you pick some poor downtrodden homeless person and give them half of everything you own? Then you'd both be equal.

Most of the neo-feudalist elitists certainly won't.

I, however, will give the same opportunity I had to anyone. I had the opportunity to work my way though school, get swindled out of a house, build a career and a family and another house by busting my chops for twenty five years.

That's the difference: equal opportunity or equal results.

The bible says if a man doesn't want to work, don't let him eat. Is that the part you're referring to?
