What specifically are you trying to train?
There are other ways to reward a dogs behaviour besides treats. Does your dog have a favourite toy for instance? Even lavash praise instead of a treat can work with a lot of dogs.

What about a squeaky toy or peanut butter or cheese whiz? I use the end of my wooden spoon and put PB on it, my dog thinks this is an awesome treat.

Drop into mouth may work. I used to do that with pills that the dog had to take everyday.

Training to "take" from your hand: Using what ever command or verbal cue you want to, extend your hand with something yummy smeared on it for the dog to lick. Even the most diligent dog will miss some so wash your hands afterward.
Smearable yummy things: Peanut Butter (a tried and true favorite), Cheese Whiz (or other brands), grease from cooked meat (turkey, chicken, ham).
Do not coat your entire hand, a teaspoonful is more than plenty for even the largest dog.
From "take" the rest of training is so much easier.

My dog really never liked treats when being trained he'd rather hear "good boy" and get a belly rub then get a treat.. he'll take treats now, but still waits around for the bellyrub.
