Hello s:

If you're good, and you're instructor/software program is good, and you work hard, you can probably eek your way through in a couple weeks. You can be fluent in about 8 weeks.

Depends on how smart you are #1 and your aptitude to learn a new language.

And what degree of fluency you are expecting.

You can get by in a restaurant etc WITH a dictionary in a matter of weeks... Fluency will take years.

I speak several languages... some are easier to learn than others are,

Hi, suisse!

Spoken? Written? Both? What language and how much of it do you want to learn, please?

Thanks!

"Just talk" can mean a lot of things.

Are you a fast learner, do you have a knack for foreign languages? Exactly how are you going to learn this. There are a LOT of factors at play before that can be answered. And theanswer will not be the same for two people.
