The drive is not ready for use;its door may be open.please check drive and make sure that a disk is inserted and that drive door is closed. This type of error occurred in my display. How can solve the problem? I am using windows Xp. What I do? Please send to me.

What type of drive - hard drive, floppy drive, CD drive, other? Usually indicative of bad drive or media.

I have the same problem with floppy drive .and by this error I also can't open disk manager, drive manager, task manager etc they just appear for a second and then suddenly disappears..
Please help me..
