My brother passed away in Nov. 09, and while going through his personal belongings I found a Certificate of Stock, 50 shares, penny stock, of a company called Netword, Inc. Delaware. The stock was purchased in 1987, in Tulsa, Okla.
Can anyone tell me if this is still a viable stock or just a worthless piece of paper?

Just an FYI - a lot of companies register in Delaware because there are some benefits of doing so, but these companies can operate anywhere in the US.
