(Verse 1.)
She had liked him since the begining, but he didn’t know.
She knew how much she cared for him, but she couldn’t let it show.
Friends for awhile but lost at one place.
She didn’t know it, but he felt the same.
In both of their minds, they wondered what if?
Too afraid to climb that mountain,
Too afraid to reach for it…

(Chorus)
So she’d wait by the phone, waiting for his call.
And over on the other line, he was too afraid to fall.
They talked about friends, and they talked about their dreams…
They talked about everything, and who they wanted to be.
When they hung up, they both sighed.
Each thinking about the other one, they were slowly starting to climb.

(Verse 2.)
The days went bye and finally something changed.
Moving closer to one another there relationships got steady same.
Writing those silly things, and calling when they could.
Talking about the coming days, and wishing they’d be good.
Laughing about dates to come, and hoping to see each other soon…
Neither wanted to say goodbye, but at a shame neither could see the beautiful truth…

(Chorus.)
So she’d wait by the phone, waiting for his call.
And over on the other line, he was too afraid to fall.
They talked about life, and they talked about their dreams…
They talked about everything, and what does it really mean?
And when they hung up, they each said “goodnight”
Each thinking about the other one, they were starting to climb.

(Verse 3.)
They talk about the future and hope ot be more then this.
She thinks as she sleeps; if we do progress I don’t wanna dismiss<3
Though sometimes when it’s quiet, and the world is all asleep,
They both think about what they both hope to be,
And how there progression is such a bliss.

(Chorus 2.)
And he waits for her, he gets to see her today...
So he can hold her for the first time; but in his own special way.
She will walk up to the door, and stop right in her tracks.
‘Cause there’s a feel in her stomache, somethings not going back.
The feeling of friendship they first had that was fine
He knows the friendship is really going to progress this time.

Very nice, very sweet! I'm sure he'll love it!

I made a few corrections (in bold) --

(Verse 1.)
She had liked him since the beginning, but he didn’t know.

Friends for a while but lost at one place.
She didn’t know it, but he felt the same.
In both of their minds, they wondered what if?
Too afraid to climb that mountain,
Too afraid to reach for it… [reach for what?]

(Chorus)
So she’d wait by the phone, waiting for his call.
And over on the other end, he was too afraid to fall.
They talked about friends, and they talked about their dreams…
They talked about everything, and what they wanted to be.
When they hung up, they both sighed.
Each thinking about the other one, they were slowly starting to climb.

Hi, Brianna2233!

Very nice writing there! A lot of content in what you wrote.

I'm sure that you put a great deal of effort in that.

Since you intend for it to be a song, what would you like to do with it, please?

Thanks!

Ok well I saw this same song on YouTube of a girl named Kacey singing it and she said she wrote it. Also I saw a girl name Lilly put these lyrics on Yahoo. I like them but people are lying on who wrote the song.
