I am 22 now. When I was 5 my mother put my stepfather on my birthcertificate.. Until then I had no father on there. Now that I am an adult I want him off. I don't speak to him anymore and my he and my mom are divorced. I have also found my biological father and I do not want the last name of a man that basically abandoned my when I was 15. Please help. I live in Arizona.

Take the matter to court and ask for a DNA test of your bio dad. From there ask the courts to change the name so it reads correctly.
So long as no adoption ever took place they may allow it.
