So it all started when I took the pill after I had intercourse on the last day of my period, I was just making sure cause I heard that you could still get pregnant even during periods. I bled right after a week for three days, so yeah I heard it was some kind of side effect maybe, it looked like a short period that lasted for three days. Now I got confused I should be having my period last week from my regular cycle, so I thought I was pregnant but the pregnancy tests that I took were all negative. So I decided to count my period from the day that I thought that I had bleeding, so I thought I should be having my periiod yesterday, but still I haven't. I've really lost rhythm. I'm delayed for almost a week or two (depending on where should I start) I had my test yesterday and it was still negative. I don't know where to start now. Help.

Note:Still sexually active days after i had bleeding and my boyfriend still had withdrawal as a method.

Yes, plan b can alter your cycle a bit but it should get back on track fairly quickly. See what happens when you would expect your period next month. Test again if no period.

Keep in mind, withdrawal method is one of the least reliable methods of birth control as it takes knowing your body very well, and practicing it correctly. Even then, it has a higher chance of unintended pregnancy than other forms of birth control.

You would be better off adding condoms, put on before any entry at all, if you are not comfortable with some of the hormonal forms of contraception.

You wouldn't want to use plan b often as it is not intended for frequent use.
