I doubt you really have a fiancée in ghana, but in US funds about 300 dollars.

Ghana is the very top place for dating fraud. They have rooms full of people that are on the internet for hours at a time, and have shifts of people that come in after them. They use various passports and photos of either family members, faked ones, or ones they buy from young local girls. Often that 18 year old girl is really a 50 year old man tying or a 60 year old fat grandma.
But sometimes they will hire and use young girls, who get a few dollars for what they can get people to send.

They normally have 30 or more fiancées going at any one time, some even more.

They will ask for 1000's for passports, and then need a certain amount of funds in the bank to be able to get out of the airport,

Then often as they are heading for the airport, they get in an accident, or get robbed and have to have more money to get a replacement passport, or medical bills. They never come, and it only stops when you figure out you have been cheated and stop sending money.

There is no real police enforcement so nothing is done and they are free to go after the next one.
