My lawnmower was working then stopped cutting. I checkrd and to belt was loose. I got it back on but it seems to be twisted. Is there a right and wrong side to a belt and how do I fix it?

The V of the belt seats in the sheaves. If it twists, it probably has had the fibers inside tear and shoule be replaced. Check for other problems that could have caused it before use again.
