I have an 1996 acura. Sometimes (not all the time) maybe 2 times a week I turn the ignition switch and there is no noise what's so ever, if I turn it about 10 times the car will start with no problem. I had the main relay changed 3 months ago and since then everything has been fine. Now it is doing is again, could the main relay be bad again or could it be something else. Took it to the acura dealer and unless they can hook it up to a computer they haven't got a clue. None of the dashboard lights stay on.

Does the CEL come on and go off after 2 seconds, when you turn the ignition switch to ON (Position II)? Does it do this when you don't hear any noise?
