I'm on probation in TX, was on deferred but violated ( 5yrs ). Now I'm on reg, I'm taking a M.O.G. class and have 200 hours left on my community service. My lease is up on my apt and have to move out. My wife and I have great job opportunities awaiting us in another county. If I can't find another place where I'm staying but have one waiting for me in the county I want to move too, what do I have to do to transfer my probation?

Hello p:

When I was on probation, I could live in any county in the state I wanted to. Moving to ANOTHER state required a transfer, but not to another county. I had a PO that I hated, so I moved. Screw him. Hopefully, you can do that too.

Do you mean another location within the same state, or nation,

Another county in the same state, my p.o. is a true s.o.b. and I really do want to move.

I will agree with excon, unless you have specific rules that you just can't move. I have never heard of a issue moving within a state. ** most of them are , s.o.b. is actually the better ones
