Is there a toilet flange that will allow us to add 2 inches? We want to get a better toilet, (one that flushes relaibly, among other things0, ADA height and a linen, or biscuit color). Maybe the safest thing to do is to first take off the old toilet and then measure for what we need. What we have seems to measure 10 inches. It was a builder's weekend get-away house. Looks beautiful, but we have since had to fix all kinds of things in which he'd taken quality or installation short-cuts. Thanks!

I assume you are talking using an offset flange to move the toilet out to 12" Yes, you can get a flange for that. Sometimes not easy to do, particularly if you are on a slab. However, many of the companies offer what you want in a 10 inch offset. Check with them for availability of the model you like. I found HD has some 10" in stock at the local store.

To get the rough in size of your toilet measure from the baseboard to the center of the closet bolts.

Rather then to tear out the old flange and replace with a 2" offset flange, ( which is not really your best option) shop for a 10" rough toilet. A 2" offset flange is the extreme limits of offset and we have had problems with them,
Save yourself a lot of extra work and hassle and check out the 10" bowls. Good luck, Tom
