My wife was duped into a school that had no accreditation, and now owes so much money back. She went to the school for 2 years and every year when she asked if they got there accreditation they said not yet but should be soon. Over and over the same thing. Now she has 2 years under her belt and she cannot transfer her credits to another school. On top of that now she owes 16,000 for classes that absolutely do not help her in anyway. Is there anyway to get the student loan forgiven? She dropped out 2 years ago, and they STILL aren't accredited. I am so flustered by this and I can't think of who to contact. I appreciate any help I can get! Thanks!

Hello sam:

I think she's stuck. The mistake she made was signing up BEFORE the accreditation was acquired. That would be, unless she was PROMISED accreditation, and you have it in WRITING.

I am going through the same thing .They had it they lost it .You don't know .My taxes were garnished for years. Now I back in school and need my credits .So I am seaching to see if they have a school accredited in another state that can help with my transcripts.
