Hi new guy here.

I have a question about what size generator to use.
We do epoxy flooring and we will be using a shot blaster and a vac.

Here are there sizes and also they will be running at the same time. So I know will need a good size generator.

Shot blaster Blast Motor: 10 hp (7.51kw)
Amperage: 26A
Voltage: 230V, 3ø, 60 Hz
Power Cord: 50 ft. (15m)

Vac Amperage: 15.6/13.3A
Voltage: 230V/440V, 3ø, 60 Hz
Power Cord: 30 ft. (9m)

And here's a link to the blaster & Vac
1-10DPS75 - Blastrac, NA (http://www.blastrac.com/products/shot-blasting/concrete/1-10dps75/)

BDC-3140P - Blastrac, NA (http://www.blastrac.com/products/dust-collectors/bdc-3140p/)

Thanks for any help Ron.

You will obviously need a 3 phase compressor. At minimum an 18kW unit.
Most likely you will need a tow behind trailer type unit.

Thanks for the info. Been away from work the last week and a half.

I have this GA97HE (http://www.multiquip.com/multiquip/GA97HE.htm). Would this generator be able to run just one of the pieces of equipment? I could get a second generator for the other piece?

Thanks Ron.

Thanks Ron.No. That is a single phase unit. You need 3-phase.
