A HDD replacement is quite straight forward and covered all over the 'net.
As for RAM increase, I don't think that's possible or even needed.

I have a game with mods that i downloaded and the max is 4.
Care to explain WHY you are disagreeing with my previous response, as your comment makes little sense.

MY PS3 doesn't want to play more then 4 mods. When I want to play with 5 mods it crashes after a couple of moments.
