I've always wanted to become an Actress! I even have a private tutor and I'm even moving to the states for good audition parts! But I'm working on my weight, and skin... Hair and etc. but I don't know how long this will take I need to loose a lot of weight (For the average,) and I need to whiten my teeth get braces and fill in my chipped tooth, skin and weight is my main priority right now. I go and do stuff with my friends and drink lotssa water but for dinner my mom asks for McDonalds and my friends there obviously she'd want some but I don't because I am trying to loose weight but I can't just tell her I want to be skinny she's going to think I think I'm fat! And with my skin everyone comments on my misquito bites on my legs I have 6 on my right and 4 on my left but there big! And 7 on my left and 6 on my right arm, and 1 on my face and 3 on my back and 3 on the back of my head. But I'm not itching and stuff. But also myself of steem is getting back, every one keeps on telling me "Pfft, good luck" like my cousins and grandma and grandpa don't even give me a little bit of courage (Whatever there ***es anyway... ) I tell them I want to be an actress and they say "Yeah I bet you do, but you won't be one" I can't believe that, my parents and friends are the ONLY ones who support me and only 3 friends WOULD believe me that I could be an actress...

Please help me for me gaining confidence and my weight and skin, and teeth

Mosquito bites go away. How old are you?

Have you done any acting in school plays? Can you sing on key? Can you play an instrument? (Most actresses can do those things.)

Hi, LLfan4evaxoxo!

Additionally, part of being a successful actor or actress is making the best use of the way that you might already be in many ways. People who get roles professionally are usually chosen for the roles for many combinations of reasons. Unless the writer of a script specifies that an actor or actress for a part absolutely must have certain attributes, there's usually quite a bit of leeway given to choosing a particular person for a part.

What I would suggest that you do is to answer Wondergirl's questions first. I would also like to know the answers that you have for them.

Thanks!

Your focus is on your image. Showbusiness and making the art of acting are different. Is your goal to be in films, on stage, commercials, etc? You need experience, and a lot of potential. Start acting in every play.
It doesn't matter what other people say, if you believe what they say then you are just comparing yourself to their low expectations. The way to accomplish things is to have a personal best, and personal goals.
It is extremely difficult to be able to make a living acting. You should get a lot of practice, and make acting your focus.

Rejection is part of the business you want to enter. You need to get used to it now. Your not going to walk in the first audition and wow anyone. Your going to be nervous and your mind will be busy critiqueing the others around you. It all comes in time and with practice. If you have the "look" they will know it when you walk in the door. Its not about specific or pencil thin or anything. Its about you and being yourself and being able to deliver on camera. It's that simple. Its how you carry yourself. So concentrate on the other things like having loud noises around you and still being able to read and deliver your lines. Don't get caught up in the dribble.

You are probably beautiful. Sounds like you have jealous people around you. Just keep your eye on the prize. Mosquito bites go away. Focus on your education, and acting in plays and getting experience. Most of all keep your dream in your heart, don't get pregnant, don't give up, and smile!
Remember you need education to be able to keep people from taking advantage of you and so you can relate to the rest of the world.

Thanks everyone, :) I am answering Wondergirl right now, so I have been in 5 plays, 2 I have been the lead, the leads I have been in front of the whole school... I play the Piano and guitar (Not the guitar really) I used to play the Recorder in school a long time ago, I am fairly good at singing. I reccemonded I took singing lessons though, just in case, you never know what'll happen. And, Shaydie thank you so much, that was very sweet. Yeah I have been a little bad at my confidence this year, for my speeches I get scared, cause it is like facts and stuff, so I just don't quite think some people are interested in it, so I don't really think it was worth it but I got so nervous and caught up in about what they thought was that I turned red but then after I ended up not caring so I think this is getting better now:) Misquito bites are my laast think on my mind, they haven't bothered me lately. Thank you again guys!

God Bless
