I've been meaning to ask if we can have seizures/fainting spells at night.. you see the other day I woke up with an injured tongue.. I bit it really bad :(
This only happens when I have a seizure so I wondered if I had one at night.
I also have deep nail markings on my hand from pressure..
(I was diagnosed with Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy about 2 years ago.)

This wasn't the first time.. this other time I woke up during the night because my legs were twisting behind me toward my back.. it was hard to explain and it hurt and that's when I lost consciousness. I had also bit my tongue.

It's never really happened to me like this.. if anyone can help I'd really appretiate it.

Are these incidents a bad sign?

Just want to know if it's getting worse

Its sounds like it is getting worse and also you should be talking with your doctor about it. If the meds affected you in a negative way then its possible there are other meds available that may help better.

Missed the part about stopping medication.

If taking medication for seizure control and the medication is abandoned it only follows that seizures would return. Nonetheless, nocturnal seizures should be brought to the attention of the attending.

So your condition is not necessarily worsening it's simply uncontrolled.
