I know there are many posts on this site on how to handle a divorce, a break-up, etc. Look under relationships on this board and read through some of the stickies that have many good, sound ideas on getting through this stress and loss.

But find yourself something's to do - constructive things to do. Develop a hobby, get out and socialize, join a fitness club (bonus of extra health and feeling better about yourself), if your friends are negative - work on finding new friendships.

I was married for 23 years and yes, there are times when something happens that triggers a memory. But that is all it is - in the past. That does not define the present.

You need to create a new present for yourself. Have you consulted with your doctor? Emotional stress can cause physical stress.
Stay healthy. Your doctor can advise you on this.

Good luck to you.
