I really like the dishes that you get a little diners -- plain, utilitarian-looking coffee cups and pie plates, that sort of thing. But restaurant suppliers only sell these things in large quantities. Where can buy a few of each?

Have you asked the people at restaurant supply stores if you can buy just a small number, please? If you ask for an even number of them, I bet that they would let you do that with certain designs.
