Pregnancy seems the most obvious explanation and those test are supposed to be quite accurate. Have you changed your diet, are you on a crash diet, are you particularly worried about something, all these things can cause such changes in your body. I think you should go see your doctor to be on the safe side.

Have you had a blood test done for pregnancy? As bluerose suggested, see your doctor.

If the blood test was awhile ago, you may want to see your doctor again for another one. Did he check other things with the blood work besides pregnancy? There could be other hormone issues going on.

Sometimes doctors will prescribe birth control pills to help regulate periods. It may only take a few months to notice a difference. Are you concerned about possible health side effects from the pill? Most of the health concerns you hear about are more likely if you take the pill for a long time, are older, smoke, or have a history of certain health issues, such as a previous blood clot.

Maybe talk to your doctor again and share your concerns with him. He will likely suggest trying the pill for a few months and see if you have a change. The worry you are having over this may be enough stress to be adding to how you are feeling.
