I am getting weatherization on my home. I was under the impression that they replaced kitchen appliances that are faulty, not running properly, and draining energy. I have come to find out they only replace refrigerators. My clother washer and dryer and my dishwasher are all sucking up energy, as they do not run properly. I have to do double/triple runs on everything. This is costing me a fortune. I am in the midst of applying for SSI in PA.. And my 17 yr old special needs daughter receives SSI. Still I am having a very difficult time making ends meet. Do you know of any programs that will replace these appliances? I cannot afford to buy them myself. We need HELP FAST. Please send any and all info or leads you may have, Thanks

Why the sudden need? You have had these appliances all along, what could be the sudden necessity to have them replaced right now?

The Salvation Army might be an outlet for you to check into.

Local appliance stores often bring in the appliances they replace, perhaps they might be sympathetic to your needs.

Otherwise,I am all out of ideas.

Try Kijiji, there are often give aways, you just have to pick it up. It may not be top notch, or energy efficient, but it will be free. :)
