I was pulling weeds from behind the outside unit and the wires came apart from under the panel on the outside unit. I have 2 wires coming from inside the house a red, white wire and there is 2 wires inside the panel blue and brown wire. Can you please tell me which color wire goes to which one. As soon as I pulled the wires apart the fan quite blowing. Thanks

These wires are low voltage wires(24v). It doesn't matter which colors go were. You can hook them up either way. All they do is energize a coil which closes the conatactor. Make sure to either set the thermostat to OFF, or kill the power to the FURNACE INSIDE before reconnecting the wires. Wouldn't hurt to kill power to outside unit also, just to be extra safe. So basically, you can hook red to blue and white to brown, or white to blue and red to brown, it will be just fine either way. Good luck and please let us know how things work out.

I thought they were low voltage. I hooked them up but still nothing working. I looked at the fuse and it was blown and I replaced the fuse and everything working good. Thanks!

Glad you got it fixed. Yes, I forgot to mention that since the unit was running when wires were disconnected, they may have shorted and blown a fuse. Just glad you got it handled. Have a good day, and good job on the fix.
