My GE Side by side ice maker will not shut off. It does not seem to have a lever that stops ice production as the ic e level increases. I did not get an owners manual, so I do not know if it has or is missing a lever.

The switch is on the top freezer shelf behind the grate - pull it off towards you to find it.

The back wall of the freezer Is frosted over.
