I'm about to turn 15 on December 22nd. I'm a male, 6 feet, 1 inch. I'm quite tall however I'm only 130 pounds. My parents both doctors don't have time to take me to a gym to work out plus they said that I'm too young to go to the gym. My mother carried me to a gym after I begged her about 2 months ago. When I arrived there the gym instructor said I was too young and to come back when I'm 16. My parents said to listen to the gym instuctor eat 6 small meals a day, etc... I'm doing all of this but I'm still the same weight for the past 2 months. I know a pharmacist who gave me a product called gnc pro performance weight gainers 2002 gold. Each serving of it has 2200 calories. The serving size is too much and I don't like the taste. I considered using steroids for 4 weeks at a low dosage. With a low dosage I would not need to use anti-estrogens and I can put on weight during that time. However the pharmacist refuses to give me the anabolic steroids. I don't know what else to do. I've spent a lot of money on other products.

How can I put on weight. In the long run steroid use is unsafe. So what would be a good way to put on weight in my condition without drug use?

You said your parents were both doctors. But did they give you a physical examination to see if there is a medical reason that you aren't gaining weight? If not, that would be the first thing you need. If there is no medical reason that you aren't gaining weight, eat right, exercise, and relax! Restlessness from worrying about your weight may be burning up a lot of calories.

Do not use steroids... too many problems with them (just avoid it and save yourself a headache). What you're using right now (weight gainers) sounds like a protein powder, it will have a better results if you work out. In which case I would suggest, for the moment to simply as you stated eat a lot, and not to use it. Best way for you right now (since your parents don't want you to hit the gym), is to get involved in sports, be active & eat more.

Whoa, man...

I thought I was kind of hard on myself for trying to gain weight.. but your only 15 man. FIFTEEN! Just eat like you regularly do and live life! Worry about your weight when you 18 or 19 when you actually have more control of it.

You're still way too young and your metabolism is like a high speed train. It's also in your genetics my man. You should gain another 20-25 pounds just doing you. I'm 19 and I'm having trouble gaining the same amount you want. I'm around 177-78 and I'm trying to get to exactly 190 in muscle.
