The owners manual is lame, transmission oil for honda ht-r 3009 what kind and how much? Seems like a simple question to me!

Not a proper answer but, call a honda dealer. If they won't tell you go and ask to buy a can of gearbox lube from them. They will probably sell you the proper stuff and then you will know and perhaps tell me. I am about to follow my own advice and drive to the honda dealer. Manual is a POS. John Acton

Talked to Honda dealer this afternoon standard 80/90 gearbox lube is fine !
