My man and I are feuding I got very upset at him , because sometimes he only thinks of himself, Ive been with him over 10 years , he invites me to a card game where there is only guys, I didn't hang around them for that reason was close by with my friends and in the evening decided to go home stopped by to say goodbye only to get screamed that I shouldn't of came don't forget he asked me to come ,he was so upset that the guys where ridiculed him about me since none of them bought there girls or wife's were not married, I didn't want to argue with him so I said that I was leaving , I took a cab home got home OK , he didn't even call me to make sure I got home OK, I guess card games and drinking will do that to you especially in front of your guy friends, that's all I can think of so I write him a email on how I felt , and that he only thought about himself, was I wrong? Now he won't even talk to me , was I wrong? Everything was well with us help me. Yoli

Doesn't sound like card games + drinking are the only problems here.

Your relationship lacks communication. After 10 years, you would think that you guys are really close and don't need to play all these mind games.

What other problems have you had with him? This is the most recent communication breakdown. Are there any others?

After 10 years no offence but you would normally be expecting to or in the process of getting married you made no mention of this.

He was definitely wrong for shouting at you, especially as he asked you to go along, if he's ignoring you, then go NC yourself perhaps this is a sign for you to get out of the relationship, as it would seem its not going anywhere as it is.

You can do better for yourself.

How old are both of you? Has the relationship always been like this?

I get the impression there is more to this story than you wrote here.

Why did he invite you to what sounds like a guy's night event and why did you accept?

Best case scenario, I think the two of you need to sit down and discuss the issues between you and find a compromise and boundary lines.

Let the emotional dust settle and then see if this can be talked out. I can't believe this is his first time acting like an idiot while he was drunk.
