I'm not sure if this file is malware or a virus but I am sure this file is not supposed to be there. The dangerous file “csrss.exe” has almost the same name as another windows file that you should not delete “csrsc.exe”.

First things first. Make a backup of all your files.
Do this by switching your computer off.
Now put it on and press “F8” every 1 seconds.
You will then get a screen giving you options. Select “Safe Mode with Command Prompt”.
After you have logged in a command promt will appear (Black Box).
Type EXPLORER.EXE in that box.
Now backup you data.

When you are finished download AVG Free from a friend PC or from work.
Install it in Safe Mode (The only antio-virus I came across that can install and run in safe mode.)

After scanning restart in normal mode. It should be gone.
If you have error messages after restarting saying that it cannot find some files, just let me know and we will get it sorted out :)
