I don't smoke, and I try not to judge others for their choices (as long as those choices don't affect me). I have heard smokers argue that it does no damage itself but it's the smoke that's not good. I have also heard that it is a "spiritual" choice. According to the world wide web it is very harmful. I have never (knowingly) known any spiritually sound adults who smoke pot often. I can't say if they have ever done. But I don't understand how it can be healthy to be dependent on any substance or thing for a peace of mind.

Wrong? I don't think so. Illegal perhaps.

Besides the legality issues, I also feel that it's just not healthy to be dependent on any type of drug or alcohol.

I don't think smoking or drinking makes someone a bad person. I just have known people to get legal issues for it and then can't get a job. I've known people who let it control what they do and when they leave the house. Or simply can't have fun without it. When anything "keeps" you from being responsilbe you shouldn't do. I just had a friend that has had a lot of trouble behind smoking too much but then has lame excuses about it's spiritual, it's not addictive, or it makes me creative. They tell me that I don't understand and everybody smokes. I have nothing to say about what grown people do as long as they are taking care of business and not hurting others. I just wanted to see what other people thought about this.
I guess its not the pot that's bad bad, but when someone is addicted to it and doesn't it.

Now when people talk about a pot addiction, they are (hopefully) referring to the psychological addiction because marijuana is not addictive. Whether it is bad, that's a personal choice. I, personally, believe it does people more good than bad, as it has been found to stave off alzheimers and ease glaucoma syptoms. Cancer patients also benefit to ease pain, not to mention chronic pain patients.

If it was legal, I would light one up tonight, but it is not, and since it is illegal it is wrong

In my opinion , it is addictive, just as cigerettes. In my opinion it also harmfull to the lungs just as cigerettes are.
