My boyfriend is still very close to his ex wife's daughter from a former marriage. He sees her on the weekends. When she stays at his house she sleeps in his bed. When I have my son my boyfriend and stay the night together all the time. It is great! When he has his step daughter I can not stay the night. I have only met her 1 time. She seems very jealous of our relationship. Seems odd. Or am I being to jealous?

They shouldn't be sharing the same bed at that age. Its inappropriate behavior.

Does he only have one room in the house? Can he not make a spare bedroom or get a pullout lounge?

No a Five bedroom. She has her own room

Even with one room. There is always the floor and a sleeping bag. Also air beds are pretty cheap and when your done with it you can tuck it back in the bag for easy storage. There is no reason to share a bed with a 15 y/o. It would be grounds for a custody change.

It's sick to think that a grown man would sleep with a child.
They are both old enough to know better. Tell him how you feel.

Does the mother know? I mean if she has her own room then there is no reason for her to be sleeping there!

Tell him to stop it! If he doesn't like it tough. Have you talked to the stepdaughter. Talk to the mother.

Never had a chance. Met the daughter 1 time. The mother is out of the question. I have talked to him but he gets defensive. I do not think anything is going on but then again who knows? She is already sexually active.

So he has a 5 bedroom home?

Sick puppy this man is.

And yes the mother knows. That is where I am confused. If the mom is OK with it, why should I worry. Her mom would never put in her daughter in harm.

If nothing is going on why is he so defensive. He may be thinking about it. A fifteen year old sexually active girl who is sleeping with her step father.. Tell him to knock it off and now.

Have you got/seen proof that he sleeps with her?

kellylaughs
Jul 14, 2010, 11:13 PM
Yes. He said it is no big deal and she does not her bed. My answer was buy a new one! I am going to give him one week to fix it. Get her a new bed, have her sleep in it and stay there!! Or I am out. Not worth the risk.

They shouldn't be sleeping in the same bed, something is definitely wrong with that picture. You should be the only one sleeping in bed with him.

I think it goes beyond inappropriate. For any male over 18 to sleep with a 15 yr old girl is out of line, but the stepfather sleeping with her is a red flag that his behavior is suffering.

I would question what he does that he doesn't admit if he talks about this.
It would put the entire relationship in question if this ia an example of what he deems OK.

If he continues to sleep with her you might need to talk with her and let her know if it doesn't stop you will tell her mother and her real father! I would be livivd!

Even though she is old enough to know better, I blame the step father for being so open to it.
You need to think twice about what you're getting into.

I would tell her real father if possible.
If I found out a stepfather was sleeping with my daughter he would contract lead poisoning . 240 grains moving at 1800 fps. There is no cure.

There is another thread on here about this, and it was found that the father and daughter WERE sleeping together. I just can't find that thread.

I think the biggest clue here, is that this 15 year old ex step-daughter, is not his biological child.

He keeps her to himself, and you are not allowed to be around when she's there.

And you need to ask if this is wrong?

Get on the phone immediately, and call this child's mother, and tell her that her ex husband is sleeping with HER daughter, and you are not even allowed around when she is there.

My guess is that this arrangement is sexual, whether it is consentual does not matter; she is an underage female, of no relation to him.

Please, please please do the right thing here and report this to the CPS if you are in the US or the CAS if you are in Canada. Allow them to investigate this by talking to the 15 year old, and the unrelated adult, AND the child's mother.

If there is anything to this, and I'd bet my left foot there is, then the mother will at least have some clout when it comes to allowing this 'visitation' to continue.

You need to do the right thing.

Then, as far as you are concerned, and your son, I think that part is obvious. Too many red flags to ignore the obvious here.

I would get the hell out.

I think he's a sleazy slimeball. You need to report him. Today if possible. He is probably the reason his first wife left him.

You can have him checked out. But before you do get this situation with the stepdaughter
Under control and then leave him.

He's a perv.

I'm with Jake here. This is not a man you want a relationship with, even if he gets her a bed of her own.

This should be reported to Children's services IMMEDIATELY. While not incest since she's not his biological child, it smacks of pedophilia.

And the fact that a 15 yr old is sexually active is another issue.

You are not allowed to stay the night when she is in town because his sexual appetite is being fed.

She gets defensive because you are her competition.

It's not about the bed. There can be ten other beds in that house, and she wouldn't use them because HE isn't in them.

This is not only unnatural, it's illegal, immoral, and sickening.

She is sexually active, and he is her special "teacher".

You are jealous of a child in your lover's bed. Not HIS child, but one to whom he has taken advantage of.

Yes, he needs to be arrested. He needs to be some inmates' partner.

It sounds like MOST of us here agree with this being wrong. I wonder why that is?

Because most "normal" people cringe at the thought of what's happening in that house, to make you uninvited on those weekends.

I agree with contacting her biological father. I hope he owns a gun shop.

Sorry, but wrong is wrong. Especially when children are involved.

Get out while you can.

Does anyone remember - what was his name? Lived in California, kept posting about sexual relationships with children, was arrested, Police seized his computer, his postings on AMHD were discovered. He's still in jail (last I heard).

He quoted the Bible, too.

Whether sexual contact with children is desirable, legal or anything in between is a matter for a discussion thread, not this board.

I would suggest this thread either be moved OR closed - it's all been said at least once.
