I'm 35 weeks pregnant and have been having constant contractions for three days.
they started on Saturday and were patterned at every 7 minutes. They weren't painful
just uncomfortable. This lasted all through the day and all through Sunday. Its
now Monday and I'm still having them but they're spiratic they're not patterned but
I've been having random shooting pains in my pubic bone and achiness in my sides. I also have a contraction every time I urinate. And I keep feeling like I need to have a bowel movement but then it goes away.
should I be concerned? What does it all mean? Are these indications that labor
is close?

You should contact your doctor. Get a check up and see how your doing. If your that close with contractions it means something is going on. Go see him/her as soon as you can.

Since they have not stayed regular, they are most likely braxton kicks contractions. Give your doctor/midwife a call. They will either suggest you go in and get checked to see if there is any change to the cervix, and/or they will suggest you get plenty to drink, maybe take it easy for a bit and see if you notice any difference, and just keep them informed of any change.
If they are not actual contractions, there would be no indication as to whether labor will be early or not.

How hot is it where you live? I suggest to my girls to drink at least a gallon of water per day in the hottest part of the summer. Dehydration can do EXACTLY what you are describing.

Also, this is what I tell my gals who call me...

1) Take a tylenol
2) Warm bath to soak the muscles
3) Change positions frequently
4) Drink plenty of water and do NOT chew ice.

If all of this fails to help in a matter of a few hours, please come to the hospital so that I can check them out.

Contractions that are not regular rarely make cervical changes.
