I tried to buy a machine approx 4years ago to be shipped to another country. The salesman assured me that it would fit into the container because they do this all the time and they would remove certain part to haveit ready to e transported; But before he couls start this I would have to leave a deposit. I gave my credit card # over the phone to him late. Since then, He did not do anything that was discussed ut rather just dropped off the machine as at was and without crutial parts to make it operational. I was not present at the time it was dropped of at the container's loading site. When I was aware of the situation I immediately called and refused accepting the product and requested my deposit back. He refused and said that I bought the machine. I then called the credit card company who said that they have to continue to pay this person because I gave Him my ccredit card #. I told them that I do not wish for any more payments to be made to this individual was trying to get the balance of the monies for the machine.
Now the credit card company wants all the monies because they paid this guy even when I have tried to get them to not pay him.

Any advise as to how to proceed
