excon is right, BUT, payday loans are notorious for getting around the laws. Its possible the contract you signed gave them permission to attach your wages. And that MAY supercede state law. But the likelihood is they can't attach wages.

I'm curious here, are you claiming the payday loan was a fraud where someone used your ID to get such a loan?
