I am on probation for a year. It's a misdemeanor for "SOLICIT TO OBTAIN PROPERTY BY FALSE PRETENSE " I have no other convictions. I want to join the marines very badly but don't know how to get off probation early to do so.

Well first have you talked to the marines about taking you with this conviction, and will there be a waiver needed to get in if they allow it.
Next you may have to just wait the year, but, are there terms, were their fines to pay ? If so are they paid, were there any program or classes you were to take ?
But you would need first to talk to your PO, it will have to be at least 1/2 over and normally 3/4 over so how many months have you done on probation

Today, the military will no longer make any representations that they will accept you into the military if the judge "terminates your probation early". All US Branches want to remove the stigma that they recruit criminals. Finish your probation. Talk to your probation officer and ask him if he could make an application to terminate your probation early.

Even if you submitted the proper paperwork to the proper person, they're not going to give it to you... Are you sure the Marines will take you with your conviction?
