Hi my cat is pregnant is due very soon. I create a box for her and the baby's. What are some sign I should look for when she is ready to give birth. I have already had three sets of kittens but don't remember the things the cats did the day of the kitten's birth. Please help soon!

The queen's appetite will decrease, she will become very affectionate and follow you around, lay on her side and her breathing will be quick. You will see a trail of water after her, that is her water breaking, either that or a sack of fluid will come out and the birthing will start shortly after.

If you can, put the box in an open closet, where she feels it's safe & quiet for her kittens. If you have the box out in the open, she may choose to have them under a bed, etc... where you wouldn't want her to have them. She may want you right there when she's ready. So if she is following you around and panting, it will help for you to sit by the closet with her. Keeping her calm and in her birthing place will help it go more quickly & smoothly. Good luck:)
